Gratitude is a powerful antidote to that which we perceive to be wrong in our lives.  I experienced it first hand.

When I was very seriously ill, there were days when I was focused on all the symptoms I had, what I couldn’t do and how dreadful my life was. Yet as soon as I remembered a supportive comment from a friend, thought about how a specific symptom had reduced, or took time to enjoy the view of the garden from my bed, I realized there was much to feel grateful for in my life. In essence, what I was doing was changing my vibration: the more I noticed the blessingss in my life, the more abundant my life became. No matter how insignificant something seemed (like watching a bird take a bath in the garden) I decided to enjoy and appreciate it. I believe the Universe heard my changing vibration and acted upon it.

We can use EFT to change our vibration, too. With EFT, it’s possible to identify the vibration blocking our progress, neutralize and clear the way for appreciation and gratitude. What could be more uplifting than focusing on what’s right with our lives!

EFT Statements

If you are new to EFT, please click here to view the tapping points.

With your dominant hand, tap the karate chop point on the other hand while saying the following:

Even though I’m focusing on what’s going wrong with my life right now, I accept who I am and how I’m feeling

Even though I’m frustrated and disappointed because things are always going wrong, perhaps I could notice some of the good things in my life and raise my vibration

Even though it’s really difficult to be grateful at the moment, I choose to accept myself and appreciate many aspects of my life

Now tap the following places while saying each of the phrases below.

Top of the head: I keep focusing on what’s going wrong
Eyebrow: I feel frustrated and disappointed
Side of the eye: I don’t want to be positive about this
Under the eye: but I don’t want to focus on the negative all the time, either
Under the nose: I don’t have the right vibration
Chin: and that makes me more anxious
Under the arm: and it’s really hard to change

Top of the head: I want to change my vibration
Eyebrow: perhaps I could!
Side of the eye: maybe I am ready to notice some good things in my life
Under the eye: I choose to appreciate what is right with my life
Under the nose: I am open to acknowledging all the abundance in my life
Chin: I am loving this shift in my vibration!
Collarbone: I am grateful for the blessings in my life
Under the arm: I appreciate so much more about my life now

Now close your eyes and take a deep but comfortable breath. You might need to repeat this process or feel free to change the wording so it applies to how you really feel.

  1. I love this Tapping script. It leands itself to so many areas of usage. I’ve only gone through it once, but it already altered my vibration a little. Thanks for sharing it.

  2. Hi Tim,
I’m delighted you can feel your vibration changing already. Keep up the great work!
Gratitude tapping is so useful when we’re feeling low, or overwhelmed, too. Simply tapping each point and acknowledging things we are thankful for, can really shake up that energy! The things don’t need to be massive events – simply acknowledging the sun shining, or the lovely conversation we just had is enough.
    warm wishes,
    Annabel
